Anaerobic digestion of the liquid phase after pretreatment in the DAF /flotator with flocculator/ takes place in a specially designed system by HydroThane of twin anaerobic reactor ECSB and preparatory neutralization tank NT.

This configuration allows:

• Significantly reduce the volume of the anaerobic reactor and intensify the flow of treated effluent.
• Optimal biomass retention thanks to two separators.
• Two-stage biogas collection.
• In the middle part of the reactor, biomass increase also occurs (even without biomass loss during short peak loads)
